Privacy Policy

Effective July 8, 2026

Inbox Detox (“we,” “us”) is an email-management tool operated by AI Aerial Solutions (Brian Gorzelic). This policy explains what data we access when you connect your Google account, how we use it, and the choices you have. Questions: bgorzelic@gmail.com.

Data we access

When you sign in with Google and grant permission, Inbox Detox may access:

  • Your basic profile (name, email address, avatar) to sign you in.
  • Your Gmail messages and settingsto scan inbox health, identify senders and subscriptions, and — only when you explicitly ask — archive, label, trash, unsubscribe from, or (via the clearly-marked “fuk-it” action) permanently delete mail.
  • Read-only metadata from Google Drive, Google Photos, and YouTube to show storage usage and cleanup opportunities. We do not read file or photo contents.

How we use it

We use this data solely to provide the app's features to you: computing your inbox health score, surfacing senders/subscriptions, and performing the cleanup actions you request. Actions are yours to initiate — nothing is deleted or changed without your explicit confirmation, and most actions are reversible (archive/undo).

Storage & retention

Inbox Detox is stateless: we do not store your emails or Google data on our servers, and we operate no database of your content. Processing happens in-session to answer your request and is not persisted. Your app preferences (e.g., simple/advanced mode) are stored locally in your browser. Your session is held in an encrypted cookie. When you sign out or revoke access, our access ends.

AI processing

The optional AI Concierge sends the minimum necessary information (such as a Gmail search query and message counts) to Anthropic's Claude API to translate your plain-English request into a proposed action. This data is processed under Anthropic's commercial terms and is not used to train models. You can use the rest of the app without the Concierge.

Sharing & sub-processors

We do not sell, rent, or share your data for advertising. We rely on a small set of infrastructure providers to run the service: Google (the APIs your data comes from), Vercel (hosting), and Anthropic (the AI Concierge, only when you use it). We may disclose information if required by law.

Google API Limited Use disclosure

Inbox Detox's use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. We do not use Google user data for advertising, do not sell it, and do not allow humans to read it except with your explicit consent, to comply with the law, or as necessary for security.

Your choices

You can revoke Inbox Detox's access to your Google account at any time at myaccount.google.com/permissions. Because we store no copy of your data, revoking access removes our ability to see it.

Security, children & changes

Data is transmitted over TLS and accessed only to serve your requests. The service is not directed to children under 13. We may update this policy; material changes will be reflected by a new effective date on this page.
